Summer Is Here!

I am so happy that it is finally SUMMER!!

After what seems like months of awful weather, we finally have some sunshine and hope for the summer to be great!

As I sit on my deck, music playing, a nice cold beverage beside me and nothing but sun behind me, I thought I would take a moment to tell you about a recent discovery I came across.

About two months ago, I went to Moose Jaw for a work placement at Shaw TV. I have family out there and I wanted to challenge myself by going out of my comfort zone. And boy did I ever. I learned so much in the process though and in the end I'm really happy I went there.

One night I remember having a hard time sleeping and I told my cousin the next morning. She asked me if I wanted to try some doTerra oils. I had absolutely no clue that by the end of those three weeks that I would be absolutely hooked.

So what are doTerra oils? It's basically modern medicine, but in oil form. All 100% natural, good for you, and fixes just about anything you can think of.

I got this book of "spells" I like to call it, and anytime I have a headache, muscle pain, cramp, toothache, etc. I consult the book to see the best oil that would work. Most of the time the oil can just be applied directly to the area, so for example when I can't sleep I used an oil called past tense which is used for calming the mind and body. It works like a charm let me tell you, better than any sleeping pills I've ever used.

Why are these so much better than say Advil or Tylenol? Well in my opinion, sometimes Advil takes a while to kick in. I had a migraine a few weeks ago, put some lavender on my temples and neck, and within 10 minutes I already felt almost 100%. It was unreal.

I never usually talk highly about products because often I figure well they should work. I'm paying money and it says it will do this so I believe it. But these oils have changed how I look at medicine. This is my new medicine cabinet. I wouldn't change it for anything. They might be a little pricier but in the long run, you save more money than you would buying Advil or Tylenol. And like I said, there's oils for just about anything you could think of that you use normal medicine for. They're amazing.
